Job Summary: 

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join Chubb’s North American Technology Organization. On our Data Delivery team, you will have an opportunity to develop and support several core forecasting applications that support our North American business

In this role, you will: 

• Actively participate in our technical agile squads, developing and supporting applications that facilitate Underwriter workflows and sales forecasting applications. Engage in cloud migration of applications with tech stack modernization where applicable
• Author/refine user stories and tech specifications. 
• Communicate & collaborate with business, IT architecture and technical teams across multi-functional areas to complete deliverables.
• Work with large amounts of data, to analyze, perform gap analysis, and provide ongoing reports.
• Research and suggest options/solutions to address key challenges for modifying legacy systems
• Partner with multiple central teams (Chubb IO, Client 2.0 etc) to support end-to-end solutions development and implementation

Location

We are open to your location in this role. While Philadelphia is preferred, you could also be based out of New Jersey (Whitehouse Station), 

Qualifications - External 

• 1-5 years of hands-on experience in development of scalable database applications and services
• Solid understanding of data structures, databases, real-time integration patterns and ETL best practices.
• Experience with building Microsoft SQL based applications
• Experience with frameworks like Angular and Springboot preferred
• Experience with Azure cloud migration and data technologies like Informatica and ETL processes preferred
• Knowledge & working experience with JIRA is an added plus.
• Comfortable in working with scrum teams distributed across multiple time zones
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or a related field;
